BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 22 ranked Dartmouth men's soccer team faced its former head coach, and current Notre Dame head coach Chad Riley Sunday night to wrap up the ADIDAS/IU Credit Union Tournament hosted by Indiana. The Big Green came up short, 2-0, to the No. 24 ranked Fighting Irish Sunday night in Bloomington.
The Big Green (0-2-0) were outshot 11-5 by the Fighting Irish (2-0-1), and 3-0 on goal. Notre Dame had eight corner kicks compared to the Big Green's one.

Notre Dame scored on its first shot attempt in the 14th minute when Ian Aschieris connected on a header to give the Fighting Irish an early 1-0 lead. Dartmouth had a chance to tie the match one minute later, but senior
Yima Asom's header hit the post and Notre Dame took back control.

Eduvie Ikoba had two shots towards the end of the first half but one sailed high, and the other went wide left of the goal. Senior
Noah Paravicini's header in the 42nd minute did not connect and Notre Dame took a 1-0 lead at the half.
The Fighting Irish put the game away in the 79th minute, Patrick Berneski scored his third goal of the season to make it a 2-0 Notre Dame lead. Dartmouth did not have any shots for the rest of the game.
The Big Green are back in action on Saturday in Storrs to take on another ranked team, this time No. 18 UConn at 7 p.m.
