PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Dartmouth men's tennis players
Pierce Widdecombe and
John Speicher won all of their singles matches in the qualifying round of the ITA Northeast Regional on Thursday.

Widdecombe first took down Merrimack's Johnathon Garcia, 6-3, 6-0, before defeating Rohan Sikka of Cornell, 6-4, 6-3.

Speicher took on Allistair Magalit of Quinnipiac, dropping his first set, 6-0, before coming back to win, 6-3, 11-9 in the tiebreak. In his second match against Harvard's Galen Lee, the Big Green junior easily won by scores of 6-4, 6-2.

Dartmouth will begin the main draw on Friday.
