BETHLEHEM, Pa. -Â The Dartmouth men's cross country team finished ninth at the Paul Short Invitational Saturday morning.

The Big Green posted 298 points on the 8K course at one of the largest annual meets on the east coast and hosted by Lehigh.

The team tied with Montana State as both finished with the same point total, but Dartmouth earned the tiebreaker thanks to a L-L-W-W-W mark.

Leading the way for the Green and White was senior
Quinn Cooney in 37th place, crossing in 24:06. Sam Morton was next, taking 53rd in 24.13, while
Benjamin Matejka was 57th thanks to a finishing time of 24:15.

Rounding out the scoring were
Liam Jamieson (73rd, 24:23) and
Jake Winslow (90th, 24:30).

Dartmouth returns to action next weekend, running in the New England Championship at Franklin Park on Saturday.
