HANOVER, N.H. — Mike Nelson, the Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country, has announced the 2026 cross country schedule, featuring eight meets across five states and culminating with the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.
"We're excited to announce our 2026 women's and men's cross-country schedule. We have some familiar competitions on the schedule but also some new venues we haven't raced at before. We look to improve upon our team and individual performances from the 2025 season. Go Big Green!" Nelson said.
The Big Green open the season on Friday, Sept. 4 at the Friar Invitational, hosted by Providence College in Attleboro, Mass. Dartmouth then returns home for its lone home meet of the season, the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational, on Saturday, Sept. 19 in Hanover.
Dartmouth will continue its regular-season slate at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday, Oct. 2 in Bethlehem, Pa., before competing at the NEICAAA Championships on Friday, Oct. 9 in Hopkinton, N.H.
Championship racing begins in mid-October as the Big Green travel to Long Island, New York, for the ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 17. Two weeks later, Dartmouth will compete at the Ivy League Championships, hosted by Brown University on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Attleboro, Mass.
The postseason continues with the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday, Nov. 13, hosted by Hofstra University in Long Island. Qualifying teams and individuals will advance to the NCAA Championships, hosted by Indiana State University on Saturday, Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, Ind.
