Men’s Cross-Country Finishes Third at the Friar Invitational

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Dartmouth men's cross country finished third in the Friar Invitational, hosted by Providence College, at the Mark Coogan Cross Country Course at Highland Park. The course was named after former Dartmouth Head Women's Cross Country Coach, Mark Coogan, who coached the Big Green for four years.

"It was a solid opener for the Big Green today at the Friar Invite," Mike Nelson, the Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country, said. "This was a great opportunity to view the course that will host HEPS in 8 weeks. We look forward to competing at our home invite in two weeks."

The Big Green finished in third place in the 6K race at the Friar Invitational. They were led by Connor Foley, who was the first runner to cross the finish line for Dartmouth, in a time of 18:37.1 in 14^th place. Following Foley, Noe Kemper was the second runner for the Big Green to finish in a time of 18:38.1, in 15^th place.

The third runner to cross the finish line for Dartmouth was Callahan Fielder, who finished in a time of 18:44.1, in 20^th place. Andrew Burr was the fourth runner for the Big Green to finish in a time of 19:02.8, in 38^th place. David Raymond crossed the finish line, fifth for Dartmouth, in a time of 19:12.0, in 44^th place.
