PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth women's swimming and diving team concluded the Big Al Open on Sunday. The Big Green finished in fifth place with 312 points, sitting comfortably ahead of Johns Hopkins with 223.

In the 1650 free,
Christina Cianciolo finished in fifth place (16:47.17), finishing just three seconds ahead of the next swimmer and picking up 14 points.
Sarah Minnigh also scored, coming in seventh (16:52.48).

In the 100 free,
Sophie Smith and
Ashley Post earned a combined 24 points by placing sixth (50.32) and eighth (50.95), respectively. Three swimmers ended up scoring in the 200 breast:
Megan Tao was 10th (2:20.66),
Siera Daly came 14th (2:24.10) and
Bridget Parker was 25th (2:24.18).

In the 200 fly,
Mia Leko was fourth (1:59.53) and Daly was 12th (2:03.70). Competing in the D final of the 200 back were
Susannah Laster (2:04.42),
Kaia Reznicek (2:06.98) and
Sarah Finlay (2:07.59).

To end the weekend, the Big Green placed seventh in the 400 free relay (3:24.24). Made up of Post,
Summer Martin,
Zoe Wortzman and Smith, the relay finished over a second and a half ahead of Johns Hopkins.

Dartmouth will kick off 2020 on January 4 at home against Bates.
