Weather Shortens Day 1 at Virginia Challenge For Dartmouth Women

Non-scoring meet cut short by weather conditions in Charlottesville.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Dartmouth women's outdoor track & field team began its weekend at the highly competitive Virginia Challenge.
Hosted by the Virginia Cavaliers at Lannigan Field, Friday marked the first of two days at the non-scoring meet.
The meet was cut short on Friday due to weather in the area with Saturday's schedule being altered to accommodate for more events.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• In the pole vault, Brooke Brunet took fourth thanks to her 3.72m. Olivia Goodwin was 10th in the event after she also cleared 3.72m but on more attempts.
• Caroline Walter was sixth overall in the 400m that competed in the early portion of the day. Walter ran a 56.48 and was second in her section of the event.
• Nicole Deblasio was 19th overall in the 100m, crossing in 12.23, claiming fourth in her heat.
