JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three members of the Dartmouth men's team competed in the second day of the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Regional Friday.
Â
The highlight of the day was
Max Frye's 51.44 in the quarterfinal of the 400m hurdles, the second-best time in program history. Unfortunately for Frye — the Ivy League champion in the event — he did not move on to nationals with one of the qualifying spots. Overall, the sophomore finished 19th.
Â
Tim Zepf ran a 1:52.57 that placed 21st overall in the 800m at North Florida's Hodges Stadium. Like Frye, after advancing through the first round on Thursday, Zepf missed out on a spot at nationals in two weeks.
Â
In the javelin,
Cole Andrus placed 26th as his third and final throw measured 62.59m for his best toss of the afternoon.
