TUCSON, Ariz. — The Dartmouth Big Green women's rugby team defeated all three teams in its pool in the Elite Division at the 2019 College 7s National Championship on Saturday. Freshman

Sophia Haley provided the winning try in the final game of the day.

Ariana Ramsey was the Big Green's next leading scorer with three tries on the day, and sophomore Idia Ihensekien added two more. Johnson contributed four conversions and senior
Kat Ramage added a pair of conversions to complete the scoring.
While Dartmouth won all three games in Pool B, Harvard was winning its three in Pool A.
Dartmouth 26, Penn State 12
After falling behind, 7-0, Dartmouth scored the next 21 points on a Ramsey try and two more by Henrich, each followed by a conversion. Ihensekien put the finishing touch on the victory by scoring in the 14th minute, sealing the victory.
Dartmouth 28, AIC 7
The Big Green left no doubt to the outcome of this contest, scoring three Henrich tries and conversions by Johnson after each in the first seven minutes for a 21-0 lead. A try by Ramsey and conversion by Ramage in the 11th minute completed the scoring.
Dartmouth 15, Lindenwood 12
This hard-fought game started off favorably for Dartmouth with Ihensekien and Ramsey providing a 10-0 lead in the first four minutes. But Lindenwood roared back with 12 quick points to take the lead, only to have Haley respond shortly thereafter in the eighth minute. The Big Green then held off the Lions to finish off the sweep in pool play.
