Â
The Big Green are back in action for Day 2 against Hartford (12:30 p.m.) and Fordham (6:30 p.m.).
Â
In the first game of the weekend, Fordham defeated Hartford, 3-0.
Â
Leading the way for the Green and White was freshman

Â
Nicole Liddle also finished the night with seven kills, while
Carly Towers had six.
Â
The first game of the night was an exciting back-and-forth affair with five lead changes and 10 instances of the score being tied. The Pride would use a 9-0 midway through the set before the two teams began to even out. Dartmouth would make a late push to pull even at 24-24, but the visitors would prevail with the final two points.
Â
After a second set saw Hofstra take a 2-0 advantage, the third set played out to a virtual replay of the first with four lead changes and nine ties. However, three straight service aces from the Pride's Maddie Appleton secured the win.
