THURSDAY NIGHT SOCCER
Dartmouth is at home Thursday night for a meeting with Rhode Island. This is the last non-conference tune-up for the Rams before they begin A10 Conference play on Sunday against Saint Louis.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Big Green went to Connecticut and came away with a 2-0 road victory at Quinnipiac Sunday afternoon.
- Dartmouth netted two second-half goals in the 56th and 74th minutes.
- Izzy Glennon found the back of the net to get the Big Green on the board off an assist from Zoe Boocock. It was the team leading fourth assist for Boocock.
- Allie Winstanley then scored unassisted to put the game away. With the goal, Winstanley ties Mollie McGorisk for the team lead with three.
- The Big Green outshot the Bobcats, 10-7 and 6-3 on goal.
- Mariel Gordon secured her fourth shutout with three saves.
SCOUTING URI
- The Rams enter Thursday's game with a 3-2-2 record and are coming off a road loss at Boston University.
- URI has played three of the same opponents as Dartmouth. The Rams beat New Hampshire (1-0), lost to Quinnipiac (1-0) and tied Pittsburgh (1-1).
- URI is outscoring opponents 6-3 this season. Brooke Cavino leads the team with two goals, while Rebecca D'Anna, Lily Caso, Kaitlyn Sengphilom and Tali O'Leary each have one.
- Kelly Fitzgerald leads the way with two assists and Karlee Luker has one helper.
- Goalkeeper Teresa Morrisey has 25 saves on the year with an .862 save percentage.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE RAMS
- Thursday marks the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs.
- The Big Green hold a 3-1-0 record over the Rams.
- Dartmouth took home two victories during the regular season in both 1985 and 1996.
- URI handed Dartmouth a tough season ending, 2-1, overtime loss in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2002.
- Last season, the Big Green beat URI, 1-0, in overtime on a goal by Tracey Mills assisted by Lorna MacFarlane.
DEFENSE!
- Gordon and the back line of Bonnie Shea, Alyssa Neuberger, Grace Rorke and Mist Gronvold have only allowed two goals through the first six games while the offense has scored 14.
- Dartmouth is currently on a three-game shutout streak and has not let up a goal since September 6th.
- That makes it over 288 minutes since an opposing team has scored against the Big Green.
- Dartmouth had a streak of four games last season of not allowing a goal and they will try to match that Thursday.

The Big Green are back in Connecticut to face Sacred Heart Sunday afternoon before Ivy League play begins the following weekend.
