Dartmouth continues its season at Albany Tuesday night. The Great Danes have not lost in their last three games, while the Big Green look to build off their seven-goal performance from Saturday.
NIAGARA FALLS
- Seven different scorers found the back of the net in Dartmouth's 7-1 win over Niagara Saturday night at Burnham Field.
- Scoring for the Big Green were Henry Baldwin, Kota Sakurai, Mothibi Penn-Kekana, Dawson McCartney, Aron Rudich, Pedro Campos and Aaron Schwartz.
- Penn-Kekana, Rudich, Campos and Schwartz collected their first career goals.
- McCartney, David Alino and Eric Sachleben each had two assists in the game, while Jesse Scanlon, Zach Kalk and Baldwin all had one helper
POURING IT ON
- Dartmouth scored its most goals in a game since September 4 of 2009 when No. 10 Dartmouth defeated Saint Peter's, 7-0.
- This is the first time that the Big green have had seven different scorers in a single game since a 10-1 win over Brown on October 31 of 1989.
SCOUTING ALBANY
- The Great Danes enter Tuesday with a 2-3-1 record and have not lost in their last three games.
- Albany dropped its first three games to Kentucky, Cincinnati and Providence.
- They flipped on the switch starting with a win against Colgate (3-0), a tie with Quinnipiac (1-1) and most recently beat Marist on the road (2-1).
- All of Albany's losses have come by one goal.
- The Great Danes are outscoring opponents, 9-8, including a 5-2 advantage in the first half.
- Austin DaSilva leads the team with three goals and is tied for the lead with one assist.
- Kaio DaSilva (no relation to Austin) and Hugo Guerra each have two goals.
AGAINST THE GREAT DANES
- Dartmouth has never lost to Albany, holding a 3-0-0 advantage.
- The Big Green won 2-1 in Hanover in 2013 and 3-0 in Albany in 2015.
- The last time these teams met was last season. Dartmouth came away with a 1-0 overtime win at home. Dawson McCartney scored 38 seconds into OT off an assist from Justin Donawa.
BIG GREEN STATS
- After the seven-goal outburst, Dartmouth has catapulted to second in the Ivy League with 11 goals on the season.
- The Big Green are tops in the conference with 15 assists.
- 10 members of the team have at least one goal, while McCartney leads the way with two.
