HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men's and women's swimming and diving will host the Tate Ramsden Invitational this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24-25, taking on UMass.

Since its start during the 2010-11 season, the two-day meet had been named the Dartmouth Invitational. The annual event was renamed to honor former swimmer Tate Ramsden '17 who tragically passed away on Dec. 26, 2015.

The weekend will start at 3 p.m. on Friday with diving followed by the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 200 free relay. Saturday is busy, with sessions starting at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. (diving) and 3 p.m.

Last season, the Big Green men's team defeated UMass, 200-136.
Connor LaMastra broke the pool and school records in the 400 IM and the meet record in the 1650 free. Dartmouth won 11 events throughout the weekend.

The Dartmouth women were also victorious, defeating UMass by a score of 193-142. The weekend was highlighted by 10 first-place finishes, including three by
Mia Leko (200 free, 200 fly and 500 free).

This is the last time the Big Green will compete at Karl Michael Pool during the 2019-20 season. Next weekend, Dartmouth will face Columbia on the road and the following weekend, will take part in the Boston Open at BU.
