BOSTON – The Dartmouth men's track & field team is eighth after one day of competition at the 2020 New England Championship at the Reggie Lewis Center.

The Big Green registered eight points Friday in the regional meet. UConn leads the way with 67.5 points.

A majority of possible points are still on the table as the Green and White had numerous qualifiers in preliminary races.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Nils Wildberg was sixth in the long jump with a 7.00m mark to earn a trio of points.
- The Distance Medley Relay of Eric Gibson, Charlie Wade, Thomas Lingard and Greg Crowley posted a 10:15.28 to take fourth place and earn five points.
- Donovan Spearman ran a 6.95 in 60m, earning a berth in the final.
- Max Frye took third in the 500m, winning his heat in 1:04.78 and move on to Saturday.
- In the 200m, Myles Epstein will also move on thanks to a 21.95 to take fifth in the qualifiers.
- MJ Farber ran a 49.56 to earn the seventh-of-eight spots in the final of the 400m.
