Subject: SAAC & New Heights Education Reading Initiative
Description: SAAC is partnering with New Heights Educations Group's 2nd and 7 program, which seeks to foster a love for reading and learning in children. Participants will read from the "Hog Mollies" books, which are written by the organization and contain life lessons for the athletes and kids to discuss after. We are looking for volunteers to participate anywhere from one to 13 times between November and May. Each virtual reading event will take between 45 minutes and an hour.

Subject: Dartmouth Black Student-Athlete Alliance (D.B.S.A.A.).
Description: This summer co-presidents Tola Akinwumi, a '21 on the women's volleyball team, and Garrison Wade, a '22 on the men's basketball team, both took the initiative to create the Dartmouth Black Student-Athlete Alliance (D.B.S.A.A.). The purpose of this organization is to create a space for all black student-athletes to interact, learn, and grow. They hope to achieve this by having three events per term that are focused on fellowship as a club, alumni networking, and career workshops.

Description: The Counseling Center recognize that this election may be a particularly stressful time for students regardless of political beliefs, as there is a sense of uncertainty, anxiety, and dissention about the process. The Counseling Center will be offering 7 options for one-hour Zoom group drop-in. This will be a safe space to provide support for students who are experiencing distress related to the election. This is not a therapy space, but rather an opportunity for students to talk with a counselor and peers about distress or concerns related to the election.
