ITHACA, N.Y. – Second-seeded Dartmouth had a 4-1 victory over No. 7 Yale in the first match of the ECAC Indoor Championship at the Reis Tennis Center on Friday.

The Bulldogs' lone point came in doubles. A 6-4 win at the top spot and a 6-2 victory on court two put Yale (2-2) ahead going into singles.

Pierce Widdecombe tied things up with his 6-2, 6-1 win over Arnav Dhingra at No. 6 singles, while
Dan Martin gave Dartmouth (9-0) the go ahead with his 6-2, 6-3 defeat of Andrew Heller on court two.
Peter Conklin downed Robert Shymansky, 6-2, 7-5 at the No. 3 position, and
Anders Gibbons clinched with his 6-3, 7-6(4) victory against Ryan Cheng on court five.

The Big Green will be back at 3 p.m. on Saturday to play the winner of the No. 3 Cornell and No. 6 Brown match.
