Schedule of Events
THE WEEKEND
•   The Dartmouth women's indoor track & field team will line up alongside its seven other Ivy League counterparts at the 2020 Heptagonal Championship in Ithaca.
•   The meet will begin Saturday morning and continue through Sunday afternoon.
HOW WE'RE DOING
•   Coming into the weekend, the Big Green have run in just two locations this season: Hanover (4) and Boston (4).
•   Dartmouth has hosted four home meets so far and won each of them.
•   Additionally, the team competed in two non-scoring meets at BU as well as a third-place finish at Harvard to open the year back in December and then a fourth-place showing at the New England Championship several weeks back.
LAST YEAR
•   The Big Green claimed third place last year in Cambridge, earning 85 points.
•   Dartmouth trailed only Penn (136) and Harvard (102) in the standings.
RETURNING ALL-IVY
•  Â
Cha'Mia Rothwell will look to defend her title in the 60mH, an event she has won in each of her three years. Last season, Rothwell ran an 8.37 in the final to win her fifth overall indoor title between the hurdles and the long jump (twice), an event she won as both a freshman and sophomore.
•  Â
Julia Valenti is seeking her third straight title in the pole vault after capturing her second-straight win last year at Harvard (3.91m). Valenti is the first Dartmouth women to win the event multiple times as only Elizabeth Beck — the only other champion — had a pole vault title for the Big Green back in 2000, the first year it was used in competition for scoring.
•  Â
Claire Dougherty was second in the 800m a year ago, crossing in 2:08.79 to earn second-team honors and add eight points to the team total.
•  Â
Maria Garman tied for second place in the high jump (1.70m).
