ITHACA, N.Y. – The Dartmouth men's track & field team finished sixth at the 2020 Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championship after a strong showing Sunday at Cornell's Barton Hall.
Eighth after one day of competition with just one point, the Big Green battled back with several impressive showings on the final day to jump up a few spots and finished with 44 points.
Never in doubt, Princeton dominated the field, winning the meet with an incredible 173 points, nearly 60 more than second-place Harvard (116).
HIGHLIGHTS
•   Junior 
Timothy Zepf went out and won the 800m Ivy title after placing second in the event in each of the last two seasons. Zepf edged out Columbia's Jackson Storey by a half-second, crossing in 1:51.10 to earn 10 points for the team standings in addition to his First Team All-Ivy League honors.
•    
Will Baginski was fourth in the 800m, crossing in 1:54.49 to add an additional four points.
•    
Donovan Spearman was second in the final of the 60m, earning all-league second-team recognition. Spearman did it by running a 6.82 to pick up eight points for the Green and White.
•    Freshman 
Myles Epstein was sixth in the final of the 60m to earn a point thanks to his 6.87 finish. Epstein also claimed fifth and two points in the 200m final, running a 22.01.
•    
Max Frye was fourth in the 500m final in 1:04.59 as was 
Thomas Lingard in the 1000m in 2:28.06, both finishes earned four points each.
•    Senior Quin Cooney was another fourth-place finisher, doing so in 14:23.12 in the 5000m.
•    
Henry Raymond took sixth in the mile in 4:12.78.
•    The 4x800m relay team made up of Nick Feffer, Baginski, Raymond and Zepf combined to run a 7:46.43 to finish fifth.
•    The 4x400m team of Mathieu Farber, Charlie Wade, 
Julian Martelly and Frye ran to fourth in 3:17.66.
•    The shot put saw senior 
Ethan Ruh claim sixth with a 15.78m toss on his first attempt.
