BOSTON, MASS. — Dartmouth lightweight rowing began its season at the Head of the Charles on Sunday. The team competed in the Lightweight Fours and Eights and finished ninth and fourth, respectively. It was the first time back at the Head of the Charles in two years as the one of rowing's biggest events was cancelled last season.

The Big Green Lightweight 4+ placed ninth out of 13 boats with a time of (17:38.391). Dartmouth was in eighth passing the Riverside Boat Club (4:03.309) and in 10th passing the Weld Boathouse (9:46.005). They were in 10th at the Cambridge Boat Club (14:38.206) and then passed Temple to move into ninth before the finish.

Dartmouth's Lightweight 8+ finished fourth out of 16 with a time of (14:45.342). The team was in sixth when they passed the Riverside Boat Club (3:24.359) and in seventh passing the Weld Boathouse (8:09.787). The Big Green was in fifth at the Cambridge Boat Club (12:15.639) before moving into fourth at the finish.
