PRINCETON, N.J. – No. 9 Dartmouth lightweight rowing competed in two races in New Jersey on Saturday.
Diamond Cup Challenge
Princeton won all three races during the windy, rainy event.
In the 1V, the Big Green kept it really close, finishing with a time of 5:49.5 and completing the 2,000-meter course just one second after the Tigers. The Blue Hens followed 20 seconds after.
The other two races were just between the two Ivy League programs. In the 2V, Princeton finished with a time of 5:56.4 and was followed by Dartmouth in 6:03.4. The Green's 3V crossed the line with a 6:14.0, coming in after the Tigers with their time of 6:01.4.
Subin Bowl
That same afternoon, Dartmouth headed to Overpeck Park to race Columbia for the Subin Bowl.
The Lions' A and B 3V took first and second, while the Big Green followed in third (6:39.97).
In the 2V, Columbia finished in 6:08.76 and was followed by Dartmouth with its time of 6:24.18. The race for the Subin Bowl was a close one. Coxed by

Ryan Tripp, the 1V crossed the line with a time of 5:54.59, finishing less than three seconds behind the Lions.
Next Saturday, Dartmouth will race Harvard and MIT for the Biglin Bowl.
