CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — The Big Green fell to Harvard by a score of 3-1, Saturday afternoon in an Ivy road matchup. Junior forward

Dartmouth (5-7-1, 1-5 Ivy) found themselves down early in the first half. Harvard (11-2-1, 4-2 Ivy) struck in the seventh minute and took an early 1-0 advantage. The Crimson scored again in the 29th minute to take a 2-0 lead. The Big Green managed to earn some chances off of corners in the first with four to Harvard two but could not find the back of the net and the score was 2-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The second half started slowly. Neither side found the back of the net until Harvard scored in the 79th minute to take a 3-0 advantage. The Big Green answered with a goal of their own in the 86th minute. Winstanley put one past the Crimson goalkeeper and freshman midfielder
Sydney Brown was credited with the assist. Dartmouth could not overcome the two-goal deficit and fell by a score of 3-1.

The Big Green will look to bounce back on Monday when they take on Merrimack at home starting at 5 p.m., the game can be streamed on ESPN+.
