*Peak Tip of the Week: BREATHE DEEP
- You have an incredible brain that allows you to learn and perform at an elite level. As the term wraps up, your brain may produce neurochemicals that create feelings of anxiety, fear, or frustration, and that's fine. Embrace whatever you feel and remember that the simplest of things – a deep breath – can lead your brain to release endorphins and create a calming response to help you channel anxiety into focused performance. Give yourself a few breaks to breathe deep this week. For guided mediations, mindfulness exercises, or relaxation recordings, click here.
ACADEMIC SUPPORT
- November 16: Last day of winter term course change time period
- November 16: Fall term classes end
- November 19: Final exams begin
- For academic advising meetings during course change or for end of fall term advising/support, students can schedule with their Undergraduate Dean, attend Dean Drop-In Hours or schedule with DP2 Academics.
- Planning for final exams: Check out the end of fall term planner from the Undergraduate Dean's Office to help students map out their final assignments and exam studying. Strategize how/when you will review the information you covered through the term. For additional time management resources, the Academic Skills Center has some great resources for time management, including making a schedule, structuring planners, and creating an online calendar.
