THIS WEEK
Dartmouth women's basketball will play its second and final game during its five-game trip to Texas on Thursday when it faces Texas State at 2 p.m. EST, 1 p.m. CST.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green fell to UT San Antonio, 49-39, on Monday evening.
·
Mia Curtis led with eight points, while
Grace Niekelski was right behind with seven.
·
Mekkena Boyd and
Doreen Ariik led with six rebounds each.
· Back-to-back 3-pointers by Niekelski and Curtis gave Dartmouth a 6-0 lead 8- seconds into the first quarter. The Roadrunners went on a run after that, and a free throw and jumper by
Rosie Jennings made it a 14-11 game.
· The Green had a 7-2 run early to give them an 18-16 edge, but UTSA was back, pulling ahead by five by the end of the half (26-21).
· Play was relatively even to start the third and
Victoria Page's jumper kept Dartmouth within six, but a few too many fouls allowed the Roadrunners to pull further ahead (41-32).
· UTSA made it an 11-point game in the final two minutes, but
Allie Harland ended things with a layup to get back within 10.
