Dartmouth women's basketball is staying close to home for its Wednesday game, heading 90 minutes north to take on Vermont.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green led for most of the game but couldn't hold on in the fourth quarter, falling to Monmouth at Leede Arena on Sunday, 55-37.

Katie Douglas led with nine points, going 4-for-9 in field goals (.444) and 1-for-3 in 3-pointers (.333).

Carrington Washburn was right behind her with eight points from going 2-for-9 in FG (.222), 2-for-7 in treys (.286) and a perfect 2-for-2 in free throws.
Doreen Ariik had an impressive 10 rebounds.
· A Hawks buzzer beater gave them a 13-12 edge heading to the second after Dartmouth had kept them off the board for six minutes in the first. The Big Green were up, 20-18, in the second, but Monmouth started to pull ahead in the third quarter (38-33).
· The fourth was won by the visitors with their 17-4 shot advantage. Dartmouth's points came from free throws by
Emma Koch and
Mekkena Boyd and a layup by
Allie Harland before the game was done.
SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
Vermont has been playing solidly this season, entering Wednesday's matchup with a 4-4 record after beating Merrimack (68-61 OT), Brown (79-46), LIU (52-51) and Loyola Chicago (72-62). The Catamounts have won three of their last four outings. Only falling to Bucknell during that time.
LAST TIME VS. VERMONT
The Big Green kicked off the 2019-20 season at home against the Catamounts on Nov. 5, 2019, getting four players into double figures and winning, 72-55.
Dartmouth shot 50 percent from the field, while the Green defense held Vermont to 35 percent shooting.
Four players scored in double digits, being led by
Anna Luce '21, who had a game-high 20 points on 9-for-11 shooting and 2-for-3 from three with six rebounds. Annie McKenna '20 went for 15 points, five assists, five rebounds and two steals. Paula Lenart '19 nearly had a double-double with 13 points and eight rebounds on 6-for-7 shooting, and Douglas was also in double figures with 10 off the bench.
Elle Louie '21 had a solid performance as well with eight points, six rebounds and four assists.
