The former Big Green forward signs his first professional contract.
HANOVER, N.H. — The Indy Fuel of the ECHL announced Friday that they have signed former Dartmouth men's hockey forward Quin Foreman '21 to his first professional contract.
Foreman finished his Dartmouth career with 98 games in three seasons before COVID-19 caused the Ivy League to cancel his would-be senior campaign of 2020-21.
In those 98 games wearing the Big Green sweater, the Massachusetts native recorded 32 goals and 40 assists for 72 points. Playing on the top line for nearly the entirety of his three-year playing career, Foreman was the highest-scoring member of the Class of 2021.
Known in his time for coming up with big goals at key moments, Foreman might best be remembered for scoring the overtime winner against Harvard on opening night of the 2018-19 season, helping the home team to a wild 7-6 victory. Foreman also notched the tying goal against BU in a come-from-behind win at home in 2019 and the game-winner in the most recent Ledyard Classic title game against UConn, showing his propensity to find the net when his team needed him most.
Over the course of his time playing at Thompson Arena, Foreman was a 2020 All-Ivy League Second Team selection, a 2020 Walter Brown Award Semifinalist (as the top American-born player in New England), the team's 2018 Rookie of the Year, a two-time ECAC Hockey weekly award winner and the MVP of the 2019 Ledyard Classic.
