HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth field hockey team bounced back with a 5-0 dominating win over Merrimack on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at Chase Field.

The Big Green had five different goal scorers.
Â
Looking to rebound from a close defeat the day before, Dartmouth came out strong right from the opening whistle. Just over two minutes into the game, junior

Â
Shortly into the second quarter, Dartmouth extended their lead to 2-0. After a penalty corner, senior

Â
The Big Green kept their foot on the pedal as they exploded for three goals in the third quarter. A minute into the second half, Cromwell played a defense splitting pass to Browne on the run. Browne collected the ball and fired it into the back of the net for the 3-0 lead.
Â
Just five minutes later, sophomore
Payton Altman took the ball off a Merrimack defender at midfield and took the ball down the field and buried her shot to the bottom left corner for the first goal of her collegiate career.
Â
Senior
Cecelia Monnin capped off the scoring for the Big Green at the 39:33 mark. Sophomore
Rory Williamson took the penalty corner and played the ball Monnin. Monnin controlled the pass and ripped a shot past the goaltender to the bottom left corner for her first goal of the season.
