HANOVER, N.H. – After the first of three sessions at the fourth annual Tate Ramsden Invitational, the Dartmouth women's swimming and diving team is ahead of both Northeastern (51-42) and UMass (69-18).

The two-day home meet is swam in honor of Ramsden '17, who passed away on December 26, 2015. This is the first home meet since the team was reinstated last January and the only event hosted at Karl Michael Pool during the 2021-22 season.

Mia Leko opened the meet by winning the 500 free (5:01.72) and was back two events later with a first in the 200 IM (2:06.84), beating a Northeastern swimmer by two seconds. In the 500,
Sarah Minnigh followed soon after in second place with a 5:07.66.
Alyssa Palacios was first on the 3-meter diving board with a score of 298.15, qualifying for the Zone Championship Meet and moving to fifth in the all-time top 10 list in the Dartmouth record book.
Isabella Lichen came in fifth (240.50).

In the 50 free,
Ashley Post and
Zoe Wortzman took second (23.73) and third (24.56). To end the evening, the Big Green placed second in the 200 free relay (1:36.94). Made up of Leko, Wortzman,
Eleanor Zwart and Post, the relay touched just eight-tenths behind Northeastern.

Dartmouth will be back on Saturday for two sessions, starting at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
