HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's hockey team hosts a pair of Ivy League opponents this weekend to open its home slate. The Big Green take on Brown on Friday at 5 p.m. in their home opener, before closing the weekend out with a matchup with No. 9 Yale on Saturday at 3 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Last week, the Big Green opened the 2022-23 campaign on the road against then-No. 15 Harvard. Despite outshooting the Crimson 26-22, Dartmouth suffered a 3-0 loss in its season opener.

THE BIG GREEN RETURN HOME
Dartmouth returns home for its first games at Thompson Arena this season. The Big Green play their first two of 13 home contests this season and will face ECAC opponents 11 times in Hanover.
Last year, Dartmouth recorded six of its nine victories in the confines of Thompson Arena, the most the Big Green has recorded at home since the 2012-13 campaign.
Dartmouth's biggest win at home last season came on October 30 against then-No. 9 Cornell.
Laura Fuoco,
Currie Putrah,
Kenzie Bachelor and
Gabby Billing each found the back of the net in a 4-3 win.
SCOUTING BROWN
Brown heads to Hanover for its first road contest of the 2022-23 season. The Bears kicked off the year with a pair of matchups against Stonehill at home last weekend.
The Bears opened their season with a 2-2 tie against the Skyhawks on Friday, October 21 before knocking off Stonehill in the series finale, 3-1.
Jade Iginla scored in both contests and recorded three points over the weekend to earn Co-Freshman of the Week honors from ECAC Hockey.
Mégane Pilon registered 18 saves on 19 shots on goal in Brown's Saturday win over Stonehill in her collegiate debut.
Last season, the Bears recorded a record of 6-18-5 and a conference mark of 6-12-4. Brown closed out the season with an impressive 1-0 victory on the road against then-No. 9 Quinnipiac.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE BEARS
Dartmouth holds a 48-32-12 advantage in the all-time series against Brown.
Last season, the Big Green went 0-1-1 against Brown. The Bears won the series opener on November 12, 2021, by a score of 1-0. The second meeting between the teams took place in Hanover on February 6, 2022, with the teams playing to a 3-3 tie.
Brown holds a slim 4-3-3 in the last 10 meetings of the programs, dating back to the 2016-17 season.
SCOUTING YALE
Yale opens its 2022-23 season this weekend. The Bulldogs will take on Harvard on the road on Friday before heading to Hanover for Saturday's matchup against Dartmouth.
