LOOKING BACK TO SATURDAY NIGHT
The Big Green suffered a 1-0 defeat to Columbia on Saturday evening. It was an even game that saw both sides have opportunities to take all three points. But the Lions were the ones to walk away with all the points through an 86
th minute game-winning goal.
Aleena Seales and
Jaidyn Curry had the best chances for Dartmouth but were rebuffed by the Columbia goalkeepers.
THE STATS
Winstanley leads the team in scoring with 10 goals. Seales is second with five while
Aspen Anderson has three.
Mary Lundregan has a team-high seven assists.
Sydney Brown and Winstanley each have three.
Leading from the back is Cyr, who has started every game in goal for the Big Green. She has made 91 saves with five clean sheets and has a save percentage of .827.
Among the Ivy League, Winstanley is first in goals (10), game-winning goals (5), shots on goal (32) and points (23). Lundregan is second in assists with seven. Cyr is first in saves per game (6.07), save percentage (.827) and shutouts (5).
Among the national leaderboard, Winstanley is sixth in game-winning goals and 11th in shots on goal per game (2.13).
SCOUTING HARVARD
The Crimson enter the weekend with a 9-1-3, 3-0-2 record and currently sit second in the Ivy League standings. Harvard defeated Princeton in its previous outing by a score of 3-2.
Ainsley Ahmadian leads the team in scoring with seven goals. Hannah Bebar is right behind with six while Josefine Hasbo has four. Bebar has a team-high eight assists. Three players are tied for second with four. The Crimson have utilized two goalkeepers this season. Hannah Gardner and Anna Karpenko have each seen the field and have combined to make 34 saves while allowing just 11 goals.
Harvard is coached by Chris Hamblin, who is in his seventh season and has compiled a record of 58-26-10.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE CRIMSON
Dartmouth is 17-21-4 in the all-time series against Harvard. The two sides played each other during the 2021 season, a 3-1 victory in favor of the Crimson.
Dartmouth is looking for their first win in the series since a 3-1 victory in 2018, also the last time the two played each other at Burnham Field.
