HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed in the second day of the Dartmouth December Invite on Saturday at the Leverone Field House.

David Adams nearly broke the program record in the pole vault but finished just shy of it. His mark of 5.00m puts him second in the Dartmouth history as well as third in the Ivy League this season.

After winning the 60m dash on Friday,
Nils Wildberg set a new personal record in the long jump with a jump of 7.19m, placing him sixth all-time in program history and third in the Ancient Eight. Wildberg closed out the day by taking first in the 200m dash.

Mason Childers finished second in both the 200m dash and 400m dash with personal best times of 22.74 and 49.66 seconds.
Liam Murray claimed first in the 400m dash with a PR of 49.58 seconds.

Karl-Oskar Pajus took second in the heptathlon, tying his lifetime best score of 5143 points, which now leads the Ivy League this season.

Over in the weight throw,
Jake Dalton took first with a PR of 18.51m, good for third in the conference.
Ben Pable (17.93m),
Colton McMaster (14.96m) and
Matt Krogh (14.81m) all finished with personal bests in the weight throw. McMaster won the shot put with a PR of 15.88m.

Dartmouth is off for the holiday break and returns in January for the 52
nd running of the Dartmouth Relays.
