The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed at day one of the Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships on Saturday at The Armory.
HIGHLIGHTS
Eric Gibson moved on to the final of the mile in a tough prelim.
Maclean Hadden had a lifetime best in the 1000m, just missing the qualifying mark for the final in a dive to the finish.
Will Daley finished sixth in the 3000m in a stacked field. His negative split earned the Big Green points.
Drew Palermo threw for a PR of 18.65m in the weight throw, placing fourth.
Ben Pable, competing in his first Heps, advanced to the finals in weight throw.
Dartmouth is sitting in a good spot in the heptathlon with three events remaining tomorrow. Ryan Cashman is second, followed by Karl Pajus in third, Connor Luck in sixth, and Will Marx in ninth.
Looking to defend his All-Ivy performance in 2020, Myles Epstein advanced the 200m finals.
Dartmouth had two point scorers today with plenty of events left to go tomorrow.
