Connor Luck Wins First Decathlon at UMass Multis Meet

Connor Luck won his first decathlon with 5999 points. Ethan Hughes finished second while Will Marx took sixth.
AMHERST, Mass — Connor Luck of the Dartmouth men's track and field team won his first decathlon at the UMass Multis Meet.

Luck finished with 5999 points, narrowly beating out Big Green teammate Ethan Hughes by 23 points. Will Marx took sixth.

Luck entered the day in first and held on to win. He took first in the 1500m run with a time of 4:46.64.

Hughes had two PRs today in the 110m hurdles (16.93) and the discus throw (31.62m) and won the javelin and pole vault. Marx also finished with two personal bests in the discus (22.24m) and pole vault (3.75m).
