HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis fell in its Ivy League opener to No. 71 Harvard at the Boss Tennis Center on Saturday by a score of 4-0. The Big Green are now 6-8 and 0-1 in conference action, while the Crimson improved to 10-7 and 1-0.
Katie Weber and
Elizabeth Fahrmeier started the afternoon with a 6-4 victory at the No. 1 doubles position, but the visitors won the first point following wins on courts two and three.
Harvard wins at the No. 2, 3 and 6 positions clinched the win for the home team.
Lexi Dewire on court four and
Ujvala Jupalli on court six were both ahead in their second sets when the matches were ended early.
Next weekend, Dartmouth will host Cornell and Columbia.
