HANOVER, N.H. – No. 7 lightweight rowing came second to No. 1 Yale in the race for the Durand Cup on the Connecticut River on Saturday, competing at home for the first time since 2019.

The Bulldogs claimed their 11th Durand Cup with their victory in the V8 with a time of 5:30.7 and were followed by the Big Green in 5:39.0.

In the 2V8, Dartmouth finished the 2,000-meter course in 5:50.1, coming in after Yale (5:37.4). In the 3V8, the Green crossed the line with a time of 6:05.6, while the Bulldogs won with a 5:42.7.

Next weekend, Dartmouth will race for the Baggeley Bowl against Cornell at home.
