CRANSTON, R.I. – The Dartmouth sailing team finished in fifth place at the Women's Team Race National Championship.
The Women's Team Race National Championship was held at the Edgewood Yacht Club, hosted by Brown.
Competing for the Big Green on Sunday was
Maddie Hawkins,
Gray Hemans,
Taylor Eastman,
Sarah Young,
Aisling Sullivan,
Carlota Hopkins Guerra,
Eloise Burn,
Caroline Oyster,
Yumi Yoshiyasu, and
Elise Donovan.
Dartmouth entered the day in fifth place, and third among the Ivies.
After picking up two more wins in the round robin to finish with an 8-3 record, the Big Green advanced to the Top 6 alongside Brown, Yale, Boston College, Stanford, and Harvard.
Dartmouth finished the round 1-4, claiming a victory of the Bears from Brown. They finished 9-7 overall with a fifth-place finish.
The Yale Bulldogs claimed the title as well as the inaugural Ivy League women's sailing title.
Additionally, the Big Green competed at the 84
th Boston Dinghy Club Challenge Cup. Dartmouth sent

James Paul,
Maya Nguyen,
Oliver Hurwitz,
Will Michels, and
Drew Clutterbuck to sail on the Charles. There, the Big Green finished in fourth with a score of 186. Roger Williams took first, followed by Harvard and Yale.
