HANOVER, N.H. – Three student-athletes from the Dartmouth men's track and field team were recognized with All-Ivy honors, announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Karl-Oskar Pajus received First Team All-Ivy honors while
Jake Dalton landed on the Second Team and
Myles Schreck earned a spot on the Academic Team.
Pajus won the decathlon after an impressive two-day display in which he took first in the 400m dash, 1500m run, 110m hurdles, and shot put. Pajus' total score of 7196 is in the top-10 in both program history and Ivy League Heps history and is 12
th in the NCAA East Regional rankings.
Dalton earns All-Ivy honors after finishing second in the hammer throw. His mark of 59.06m narrowly beat out fellow Big Green thrower, Schreck, who's throw was just .27m shorter.
Schreck, an Economics major with a 3.36 GPA, lands on the Academic Team for his performance in the classroom and out in the circle. Schreck earned a spot on the podium at the Ivy League Championships, taking third in the hammer throw.
