Dalton and Schreck Throw Well at First Day of the New England Championships

Jake Dalton and Myles Schreck finished second and third in the hammer throw.
SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed at the first day of the New England Championships on Friday at Bryant at their Track & Turf Complex.
The Big Green finished the day with three top-10 finishes.
Jake Dalton finished second in the hammer throw with a throw of 60.37m. Myles Schreck was not far behind, taking third with a mark of 59.39m.
Over in the jumps, Rahul Batlanki took eighth in the long jump, jumping 6.80m.
Dartmouth will compete in day two of the New England Championships tomorrow as well as taking part in the Princeton Elite Invitational.
