The Big Green advance after finishing seventh in the western semifinal.
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Dartmouth sailing team advanced to the finals of the ICSA Open Dinghy National Championship after finishing seventh in the western semifinal.
The Big Green finished with a total of 176 points. They received 87 points in the A division and 89 points in the B division. They competed in five races in each division today, bringing the total to 22, 11 for each division.
In the A division, Dartmouth sent out skippers James Paul (7,8,11) and Boyd Bragg (9,10) along with Drew Clutterbuck (7-10) and Reese Bragg (11). Competing for the Big Green in the B division were skippers Will Michels (7,8,11) and Maddie Hawkins (9,10) and crew Ryan Goldstein (7,8), Yumi Yoshiyasu (9,10), and Aisling Sullivan (11).
