The Big Green have 111 points after the first day of the finals of the Open Dinghy National Championship.
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Dartmouth sailing team is currently third after the first day of the finals of the ICSA Open Dinghy National Championship on Saturday.
The Big Green have 111 points. They finished Saturday with 36 points in the A division and 75 from the B division.
Boyd Bragg and Eloise Burn teamed up for all the races in the A division for Dartmouth. Their 36 points was the best score in the A division. In the B division, Maddie Hawkins served as the skipper in all eight races. Hawkins was joined by Yumi Yoshiyasu (1,2), Carlota Hopkins Guerra (3,4), and Aisling Sullivan (5-8).
Dartmouth is just nine points back from first-place Tulane. Boston College is second with 108 points. Brown is tied with Dartmouth with 111 points, but the Big Green hold the tiebreaker.
