HANOVER, N.H. – Koenig Family Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Hockey
Reid Cashman today announced his team's schedule for the 2022-23 season. The Big Green will start things off with one scrimmage and one exhibition ahead of the 29 regular season slate.
Dartmouth will host McGill in a scrimmage on October 8 before the final tune up against the University of Guelph on October 21.
The regular season begins on October 28 with an ECAC Hockey and Ivy League matchup at Harvard. The first non-conference game of the year is two days later when the Big Green head to Army, making their first trip to West Point since 1997.
November begins with the first two home regular season contests of the year as they host Yale and Brown. The Big Green hit the road for the next six games. Dartmouth heads to the Albany area for tilts with Union and RPI. The week of Thanksgiving will see the Big Green travel overseas to Belfast for the 2022 Friendship Four. They take on Quinnipiac in a non-conference matchup on November 25 before squaring off with UMass Lowell or UMass Amherst the following evening.
The road slate continues into the first weekend of December when the Big Green head to Colgate and Cornell. The following weekend has the Big Green back at Thompson Arena for the first time in over a month to face the Riverhawks from UMass Lowell before taking a quick trip to Burlington to face Vermont on December 11. After roughly 20 days off, Dartmouth hosts the annual Ledyard Classic when Merrimack, Providence and Yale come to Hanover to close out 2022 and the non-conference schedule for the Big Green.
January sees Dartmouth play eight ECAC Hockey games, beginning with trips to Quinnipiac and Princeton at the beginning of the month. The Big Green host St. Lawrence and Clarkson before hitting the road to take on Brown and Yale. Dartmouth then plays seven straight at Thompson, their longest home stretch of the season. They host Cornell and Colgate to end the month followed by matchups with Princeton, Quinnipiac, Harvard, RPI and Union. The Big Green wrap up the regular season at Clarkson and St. Lawrence at the end of February.
All home and ECAC Hockey road games will be carried live on ESPN+. An audio-only feed of all home games will also be streamed through DartmouthSports.com in conjunction with Learfield IMG College.
