David Alino and Sophie Ragg are this week's top athletes
Women's rugby matched up with NIRA rival Quinnipiac on Brophy field, emerging victorious with the help of two tries from fifth-year senior Sophie Ragg. Over on the soccer pitch David Alino was wearing out the back of the goal. The senior scored four goals on just five shots in a 6-0 win over Stonehill College.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the week.

David Alino, Sr., Stratford, Conn., F, Men's Soccer
The senior scored four goals against Stonehill to lead the Big Green to a 6-0 victory on Sept. 24.
The Stratford, Conn. native became the first Dartmouth men's soccer player to score four goals in a game in just under 67 years. Alino set the tone for the Big Green to claim their first home victory of the season.
Alino made the most of his 37 minutes of action on Saturday, registering five shots on goal. His final three goals were scored in 5:03 of play in the second half. He now is tied for the most goals of any player in the Ivy League and his average of 1.00 goals per game leads the conference.
Sophie Ragg, 5th-Sr., Wilsborough Green, England, Center/Wing, Women's Rugby
Fifth-year center/wing Sophie Ragg scored two tries for the Big Green during their victorious return to Brophy Field. Ragg accounted for back-to-back scores less than 10 minutes apart, putting Dartmouth on top 29-5 by halftime enroute to a 41-10 win over Quinnipiac to improve to 2-0 on the season.
