NEW YORK, N.Y. — The Dartmouth men's squash team dropped an 8-1 decision to Columbia Saturday afternoon on the road. The Big Green received strong performances from multiple athletes but could not overcome the Lions in Ivy League action.
Mac Aube gave the Big Green their lone victory of the afternoon at position No. 2. Aube rallied from a two-set deficit, rattling off wins in sets three, four and five to secure a win for Dartmouth. The sophomore was sharp in the final three frames, winning by scores of 11-4, 11-5 and 11-3.
Aryan Khandelwal exchanged the first four sets with Columbia's Jacob Bulbulia at position No. 7, but was unable to close out the match in the fifth.
Jack Bell and
Quintin Campbell also recorded set wins for the Big Green.
The Big Green are back in action tomorrow, as they head to Ithaca, New York for a matchup with Cornell. The match is set to begin at noon.
