BOSTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed at the River Hawk Invitational on Saturday at The Track at New Balance in Boston.
Ethan Hughes started the day with a new PR in the 60m hurdles, finishing with a time of 8.81 seconds.
Myles Epstein advanced to the finals of the 60m dash, taking eighth place with a time of 7.04.
Liam Murray finished second in the 400m dash with a new personal best time of 48.32 seconds. Murrary is now in the top 10 in program history and third on the Ivy League performance list this season.
Jamal Cooney also competed in the event, finishing ninth with a time of 50.01.
Murray later raced in the 200m dash, finishing with a new PR of 22.13, putting him in the top 10 for program history in the event.
Colton McMaster took sixth in the shot put with a throw of 15.75m.
Yomi Babalola threw a personal best distance of 12.41m.
Michael Gabriel claimed fifth in the weight throw, throwing for a distance of 17.01m.
Rahul Batlanki finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.68m. Batlanki later competed in the triple jump, going for a distance of 14.16m.
Sam Starrs took third in the pole vault with a mark of 4.60m. Hughes set a new PR of 4.45m, taking ninth in the event.
Dartmouth will be busy next weekend as the team will compete in two different meets. The Big Green will compete in the Crimson Elite at Harvard and the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite at Boston University.
