BOSTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed at the Crimson Elite and in one event at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite at Boston University on Friday.
The Big Green ended the day with the DMR squad competing at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite at Boston University. The group of
Albert Velikonja,
Liam Murray,
DJ Matusz, and
Eric Gibson nabbed a first-place finish with a time 9:37.2, which is now the second-best time in program history and .4 seconds off the school record. The time is now the fastest on the Ivy League performance list this season.
Over at the Crimson Elite,
David Adams took sixth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.97m while
Sam Starrs set a new personal best height of 4.67m.
In the long jump,
Rahul Batlanki and
Nils Wildberg took fourth and fifth. Batlanki nearly tied his PR with a jump of 7.20m while Wildberg had a mark of 7.14m.
Colton McMaster grabbed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 15.57m.
Michael Gabriel threw for a personal best mark of 18.02m in the weight throw, taking fourth.
