Dartmouth defeated Bowdoin in its first match of 2023

BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Dartmouth women's squash team secured its first sweep of the season, taking down Bowdoin on the road, 9-0. Dartmouth dominated its first match of 2023, as all nine competitors for the Big Green won their matches in 3-0 decisions.

Jesse Brownell and Aubrey Lennon were particularly dominant in their matches. Brownell dispatched Mira Karande by scores of 11-3, 11-5 and 11-3 at position No. 7, while Lennon defeated Clio Bersani in straight sets at position No. 6. Lennon did not allow her opponent to record more than four points throughout the three sets.

Chelsea Cho and Devon Glaser picked up convincing victories for the Big Green, as the pair recorded 11-0 sets against their adversaries from Bowdoin. Cho dominated Skylar Spaulding, 11-4, 11-0 and 11-4 at position No. 5, while Glaser took down Delphine King. (11-5, 11-0, 11-3) at the ninth position.

The Big Green recorded their first sweep since February 25, 2022 against Bates.

Dartmouth finishes its time in Maine tomorrow with matches against Colby at 11 a.m. and Stanford at 5 p.m.
