Big Green Enjoy Success at Pair of Events This Weekend

Dartmouth finished third and fifth, respectively, out of 18 and 16 team fields

HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth sailing team enjoyed another strong weekend, finishing third out of 18 teams at the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Round One and fifth of 16 teams at the Stu Nelson Trophy.

In the Atlantic Coast Championship, the Big Green's "A" division team of Boyd Bragg, Yumi Yoshiyasu and James Paul placed third, finishing in first place in two races and second place three times. The "B" division of William Michels, Ryan Satterberg and Reese Bragg also excelled, twice finishing first and placing in the top five in eight of 14 races.

The Stu Nelson Trophy had three divisions, with Dartmouth's "B" division team of Gray Hemans and Madeline Koelbel placing fifth. The Big Green had one first-place finish while coming in the top five in the last four races and six overall. Dartmouth's "A" division and "C" division teams each had as high as a second-place finish, each with multiple top 10 finishes.
