HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's hockey team fell to No. 10 Harvard, 6-3, on Friday night in ECAC Hockey and Ivy League action at Thompson Arena. The Big Green move to 4-20-1, 3-14-1 on the season while the Crimson improve to 17-6-1, 14-4-0. After Dartmouth tied the game, 2-2, in the second period, Harvard scored four of the next five goals.

Sean Chisholm finished with one goal and one assist.
Braiden Dorfman and
Luke Haymes each scored once for the Big Green while
Cooper Flinton had two assists and
Joey Musa,
Tucker McRae, and
Tanner Palocsik each had one assist.

Sean Farrell led the way for Harvard with two goals and three assists. Alex Laferriere had one goal and one assist while Joe Miller, John Farinacci, and Ryan Drkulec each scored once.

The Big Green scored the opening goal of the game just before the midpoint of the opening period. After Musa blocked a shot near the point, Dartmouth immediately got possession and pushed towards goal. Flinton lifting the puck past the Crimson defenseman, sending Chisholm towards the net for the 1v1 with Harvard goaltender Mitchell Gibson. Chisholm's shot looked to initially be saved, but the puck made its way over the line to give the Big Green a 1-0 lead.

Harvard responded just a minute and a half later to tie the game. Marek Hejduk wrapped the puck around the goal and fell for Drkulec on the far side for the tap in equalizer. The Crimson took the lead early in the second period with their first power play goal of the night. Ian Moore's shot from the point was saved by
Cooper Black, but the rebound fell in front for Laferriere to put in the back of the net.

Dartmouth scored on the power play to even the game midway through the second period. Dorfman fired a shot from the right circle that found its way past Gibson for his sixth goal of the season.

After Harvard scored twice to take a 4-2 lead, the Big Green scored with 14:40 remaining to make it a one-goal game. Dartmouth went on the power play after Hejduk received two minutes interference. The Big Green wasted no time, scoring just four seconds into the extra-man advantage to cut into the deficit. Chisholm won the faceoff and Palocsik passed the puck across to the right side to Haymes for the quick shot into the far side of the net to bring his season total to 10 goals.

The Crimson added two more tallies, including an empty net goal, to secure the victory.

Dartmouth returns to the ice next weekend for a pair of ECAC Hockey matchups against Rensselaer and Union. Friday's contest against the Engineers is scheduled for 7 p.m. while Saturday's game against the Dutchmen is set for 5 p.m. Both games will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet.
