HANOVER, N.H. – One week after the Dartmouth field hockey team placed 17 Big Green student-athletes to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, four of those honorees have also been named Scholars of Distinction. To receive Scholar of Distinction honors, student-athletes must own a cumulative grade point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2022-23 academic honorees.

Lila Browne and freshmen
Ava Carlson,
Boau-Lilly Shepherd and
Florentina Terra were all recognized.
On the field this fall, Browne finished second on the Big Green in goals (4) and tied for second in points (11). In their first collegiate seasons, Carlson, Shepherd and Terra all made impacts. Carlson saw action in four goals in goal, starting twice, Shepherd played in all 17 games and scored a goal while Terra started seven of the 17 games she played, dishing two assists and playing a key role defensively for Dartmouth.
