HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's tennis team dropped a neck-and-neck 4-3 decision to Yale on Saturday afternoon in the second day of the ECAC Championship at Boss Tennis Center.

The Big Green earned the doubles point, but Yale stormed back to seal the win with four singles victories. The Ivy League foes were tied 3-3 when the match came down to No. 6 singles, where Yale's Walker Oberg edged Dartmouth's
Alex Knox-Jones in a three-set nail biter.

Dartmouth clinched the doubles point with a win at the No. 1 position as the freshman duo of
Waleed Qadir and
Miles Groom improved to a 6-1 record on the top court.
Hikaru Takeda and
Carlos Guerrero Alvarez rolled to a 6-3 win at the No. 3 spot before Knox-Jones and
Logan Chang were edged in a closely contested 7-5 decision.

Henry Ren, still unbeaten in singles this season, stayed hot win a two-set win on Court 4. Takeda represented Dartmouth's additional singles triumph at the No. 5 position.

Sunday marks the final day of the ECAC Championship and the Big Green are set to face Brown at 9 a.m. at Alexis Boss Tennis Center.
