POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Dartmouth men's ice hockey team fell to Clarkson, 4-0, in ECAC Hockey action on Friday evening at Cheel Arena. The Big Green move to 5-22-1, 4-16-1 while the Golden Knights improve to 15-14-4, 9-9-3.

Mikey Roberts stopped all eight shots he faced in the third period.

The Golden Knights had four different goal scorers. Alex Campbell and Mathieu Gosselin led the way as they both finished with one goal and one assist. Ethan Haider made 23 saves to earn the shutout.

After taking a 1-0 lead late in the first period, Clarkson scored three goals in the second period, including one on the power play, to push the lead to 4-0. Anthony Romano scored 94 seconds into the second period before Ryan Taylor scored four minutes later to add to the lead. Gosselin's goal came at the midway point of the middle frame.

Dartmouth nearly got on the board eight minutes into the second period.
Sean Keohan played a long pass through the neutral zone, splitting the defense, to
Joey Musa with a clear path to goal. Musa brought the puck towards goal, but his attempt was stopped by Haider.

The Big Green had another breakaway opportunity in the beginning of the third period. After Dartmouth killed off a penalty,
Luke Haymes came out of the box and immediately picked up a loose puck after the Golden Knights turned it over at the blue line. Haymes got the puck and skated towards goal, winning the race against the Clarkson defenseman for the 1v1 against Haider. Haymes went to go around but his shot was saved by Haider.

Dartmouth plays its final regular season contest tomorrow evening at St. Lawrence. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be available to stream nationally on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet.

Notes: Playoff seeding is still undetermined entering the final game of the regular season. The Big Green can move into 11
th place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a regulation win along with needing Brown to have a regulation loss against Colgate. Dartmouth holds the tiebreaker over the Bears after going 1-0-1 against them in the season series.
